Frequently Asked Questions

What do we do After School?

Exciting movement and enrichment experiences such as Tumbling, Gymnastics, Swimming, arts and crafts, science experiments, cooking, and group games.  And snack!  Plus time for homework too.

What schools does After School Club serve?

Our Pride Glen-Ed location serves students from ECUSD-7 Goshen Elementary and Glen Carbon Elementary and CUSD-10 Maryville Elementary.  We can provide care and activities for ECUSD-7 LeClaire Elementary and CUSD-10 Renfro Elementary with a minimum of 5 students enrolled per school. Students from other schools are also welcome to enroll if parents provide their own transportation.

How do the kiddos get to Pride?

Goshen students ride the school district bus to Pride, which drops off at our front door where an After School Club staff member meets the kiddos at the bus stop.  For all other schools, Pride’s private busses pick up from the school with a friendly, safe After School Club driver.  Students from other schools are also welcome to enroll if parents provide their own transportation.

What’s the tuition for After School?

Weekly enrollment is $90 per child, and includes early-dismissal Wednesdays.  Monthly enrollment is $319 per child and includes early-dismissal Wednesdays and district half-days.  A sibling discount of 10% is available for enrolled siblings.

When are fees due and when can changes be made?

Tuition is charged on the 1st of the month for monthly enrollments and on the Friday the week before your child attends for weekly enrollments.  Enrollment can be changed or transferred until 3 p.m. on the Thursday before the week of attendance at anytime using our online Pride Parent Portal or App.  For “late changes” after 3 p.m. on Thursday the week before. please contact us at camps@prideofil.com.  Late change enrollment can be transferred to another day or week, depending on space available, and is subject to a $10 change fee for each transfer.   Same day or day-of changes (less than 24 hours notice) are not transferrable.  All After-School Club tuition and fees are non-refundable.

Can children with special needs attend?

It’s best to reach out to our After School Coordinators before enrolling if your child has special needs.  After School Club is a group care setting, and the busy, active environment may be overwhelming to some children with sensory or other sensitivities.   We are not equipped to provide specialized or individual care for students.

What about when School is Out?

School Day Out Camps fill the gap when school is not in session!  Teacher institute days, some holidays, etc.  When School is OUT, Camp is IN!  After School Club students get first dibs on camp spots when school is out.  Camp days are filled with fun activities to keep your kiddos busy.  We often use these days to test out new material and activities for our famous WILD summer camps!

What is needed for my student to start attending?

Registration and transportation forms.  (1) Register in Pride’s online system.  You’ll need to create a family account in our IClassPro system, and add your student, if you haven’t already.  Request to enroll using the After School page on the Parent Portal or Pride App.  (2) We will also need a transportation form completed and sent to your child’s school.  This form varies per school, and is sent to you upon request for enrollment.  It’s simple and easy to complete, but depending on your child’s school, may take a few days for processing, so it’s best to plan ahead before you need care.

What if I have more questions or need to reach the After School Coordinators?
